Vintage dresses

Shortly after we found out we were going to have a girl, my mom and I found several of my old baby dresses in a cedar chest in her basement. Since then, I have been looking forward to dressing baby Maggie in them. The two dresses in these pictures used to be mine!

The shoes were a homemade gift from an older lady in my ward. Aren't they cute?

A rare picture--Jared is actually smiling!

I love them! Ella has worn some that I used to wear as well. It makes me want to keep a few of my favorites of hers so that her daughter can one day wear them. It's been the only time I've been grateful that my mom was a pack-rat. :-)

That is so neat! I was excited that Colby was able to fit into Erick's blessing outfit (especially since Erick weighed 2 pounds more than Colby when he was born). See you soon.

Oh my goodness, I had the SAME green dress that she is wearing in the first picture as a baby! How funny! (My mom saved mine too, supposedly, but couldn't find it when Marianne was born...) Our moms had such good taste. :)

What a cutie! That is great that we both named our little girl Margaret. It's been a while since we've checked your blog. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that our great minds indeed think alike ;) . Congrats on your baby girl!
