Oh, boy. I have wasted a few good hours looking up classic Sesame Street songs and skits on YouTube. I cannot even begin to describe the nostalgia that came over me. This post is especially for my beloved sibs--enjoy some of the best at the links below:
Songs:
Captain Vegetable
You're Alive (in memory of our last trip to Thanksgiving Point)
The Alligator King
Llama and the Dentist
Ladybugs Picnic
Yo Yo Ma and the Honkers
Cereal Girl
Skits:
Monsterpiece Theater--The King and I
The Carrot
Grover uses his "waiter's memory"
Heeeere Fishy Fishy Fishy
There are many, many more hours of illegal entertainment available on YouTube! Yippee for the internet.

Loved watching these...I occasionally see the Alligator king and Grover's "waiter memory" on Sesame Street nowadays (we watch SS often around here) but the Heeere fishy fishy skit I quote all the time and tried to explain it to Adrian and he just didn't appreciate it until now. :) Fun fun...
Now in my hour of darkness
There is a sound that comforts me
It's the bah-bah bah-bah-bah-bah
Letter B

I saw this before I ever heard of the Beetles, um, I mean, the Beatles.
Wow, Jenny, this may be the single biggest Internet can of worms anyone has opened for me in a very long time. Thanks a lot!
All I remember about my childhood is always being with you! :)Great memories. We should go to lunch sometime and catch up!
