I always get the after-Christmas blues. It is always so sad when all the festivities and family times are over. Not to mention that winter is still just beginning. It also doesn't help that today Alan returned to work after having almost three weeks vacation.
My mother-in-law always says that we sure wouldn't miss much if we just removed those six weeks in between New Year's Day and Valentine's Day. I think I agree.

And miss my birthday? What kind of sister are you?
I would love to cut the inversion days out. Those icey, black poluted snowbank days.
I know how you feel. I ususally get that way towards the end of February and March. I want to wear capris and flip-flops and show off freshly painted toe nails. . .
I didn't mean to offend any of my friends and family members who have birthdays and/or other special days between now and Valentine's Day. :)
Don't worry, my birthday isn't anywhere in there so I wasn't offended. :) I don't know why I always end up where its cold dreary and gray in the winter. First Salt Lake, then Poland, then Utah again. i need to go somewhere sunny!
i'm not offended and my b-day is between then. i'm all for the snow going away RIGHT NOW!!! (can you tell i've shoveled my driveway 3 times in the last 24 hours!)
I am with you! Hey, so about 2 weeks ago I got a HUGE bucket of mail delivered from the last 4 weeks! I guess the people in our old apartment had their mail held, but it got mixed up and held our mail instead...anyway, I got your birthday card you sent. I love it! Did you make it? It is so cute. You have never forgotten my birthday and I just love you for that! It means so much to me!!! Love you dear friend!:)
