I just wanted to state, for the record, that I hate fall.
Reasons:
- It's cold
- Everything outside is dying
- The birds leave, along with their music
- It's back-to-school time, something that always depressed me
- I can't take Jared to the park
- It gets dark early
- It rains a lot
- It's cold
- Did I mention that it's cold?
In my opinion, the only reason fall exists is to get me excited for Christmas. I have already started listening to Christmas music to wash away the depressing-ness of fall.
Any others agree with me?

I am right there with you. I like the leaves changing but I really really really hate winter. Looks like we are in for a long one. At least we are together :)
Too funny. Although I love fall because all the birds come here and it is finally not too hot to go outside!
Jenny, we are so much alike. Fall is also my least favorite season. I hated the "back to school" part and would get depressed. Rainy days and Mondays always make me cry. I love the fall leaves and the warmth of my fall decorations in my home. But to me, fall only exists to get ready for CHRISTMAS -- the most wonderful time of the year!!! I do love Halloween and Thanksgiving traditions though. Family times are the best!
I like the very beginning of fall when things are still green, yet getting color in the leaves. I love feeling the nip in the air, but it's still comfortable in a short sleeve shirt. I like to say that there are things about every season that I like and dislike. Here summer is so miserably hot, and i HATE BEING HOT and sweaty. It tires me out. And in the desert everything is dead looking because it's too hot for things to be green unless you water them. And winters only redeeming quality is Christmas and snow, other than that it looks gross with brown mountains and brown grass and brown every where you look. I miss green. I really really miss green. When there's green I'm happy.
PS I love that it's dark earlier because my kids go to bed earlier and stay asleep longer!! HAHAHA!
My hardest time is in February/March. By that time I am so done with the snow and being cold. I am ready for spring to come, and along with that warmer weather, capris, and painted toe nails. I believe it's called Season Affective Disorder. It's a real thing that lots of people get. :)
haha! I think this is kind of funny. I can't say I agree with you---except that I do agree that it's too cold. :)
Ha ha ha! Even though fall is my absolute favorite season of all time and I LOVE it with all my heart, I know plenty of other people who feel the same way you do! At least your honest!
I've gone back and forth on fall, but overall I like it. Going back to school never bothered me for some reason, and I like the clear skies and fresh air of fall. Also, fall culminates with my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving.
But I don't like the colder and shorter days. There's also a bit of anxiety with fall, as it has the most pronouced change of any of the seasons.
I like the leaves turning colors, Halloween decorations, pumpkins and all the yummy food. But I HATE that it gets cold and means winter is getting even closer. Fall was actually enjoyable growing up in Houston because then the temps were usually in the 60-70 range. But not so in the fridge north!
