I don't usually watch videos that people post on their blogs because I feel like I don't have time, but this one is well worth watching! Thanks, Mom, for sending this.
P.S. I'm pretty sure Alan's cousin Esther is on this movie, about a minute and45 seconds into it. Is that you, Esther?

I loved that, too. And I posted it, too! I love the scene right at the end during a famil prayer where the only really praying is the dad while the mom wrestles the naughty kids!
oh my gosh! that totally is esther and elliot!!

I LOVE this video. It helps me to keep going when some days seem pointless. Our work as mothers is most important and eternal!
Thanks! I needed to hear/see that. P.S. I like your new background. :)
Yup! thats us :) it was filmed at our playgroup. I'm really glad you like it-I just love the message!
I wish they made movies like this for dads like Kevin - changing poopy diapers, cleaning up spit-up, holding an inconsolable baby at home by himself while his wife's at work. "You are doing terrifically well!" Wouldn't it be wonderful to support fatherhood in this way by honoring those who are stay at home dads? (Kevin's right here as I write this - but I would have said this even if he wasn't here. Sometimes being a SAHD can be a lonely, unacknowledged thing.)
Alisa makes a good point. There are many amazing stay-at-home dads that don't get the credit they deserve!
